I think it stems from my days as a kid in Oak Park, IL. I dream of a gathering place, a place where the neighborhood comes to get their daily dose of whatever it is they need. Audrey and I have been discussing it lately. I like the idea of making it at home, but I have yet to meet anyone around here. Someday.
